A MESSAGE FROM THE TEACHERS:
- We finished Module 5 in HMH Into Reading and in Writing. In addition, students published their narrative stories about friends helping someone.
- We finished Topic 9 Math in Envision. Students learned how to fluently add and subtract within 1,000.
- Test Prep started on January 26th and will continue every Friday. Mark your calendars - the NYS ELA Test is April 11-April 12th!

Reading Module: Module 6:Animal Behaviors- In this module, students will listen, read, and view a variety of texts that present them with information about animal survival
Writing Module: Module 6: Expository Essay- In this module students are going to research and write about an animal who uses special skills to love outdoors year round.
Math Topics: Topic 10: Multiply by Multiples of 10 and Topic 11: Use Operations with Whole Numbers to Solve Problems
Social Studies Units: Unit 2: China Case Study and Civics For All
Science Units: Unit 2 - Weather and Climate.
