Principal’s Message for the community
Dear PS 280 Teachers, Students, and Families,
As your new principal, I am filled with excitement and hope as we embark on this new chapter together. Our school community is one of boundless potential, and I am truly honored to be part of this journey with you.
At PS 280, we are not just beginning another school year; we are stepping into a future of limitless possibilities. At the core of everything we do are our HEART values: Honesty, Empathy, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork. These values will guide us as we create an environment where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.
Our students are the heart and soul of this school. You are why we come to work every day, and we are here to guide, inspire, and challenge you to become the very best version of yourselves. Together, we will not only foster curiosity and ignite passions, but we will also be intentional in our efforts to support your growth through data-driven decisions. By carefully analyzing student progress and responding with targeted strategies, we can ensure that every student’s unique needs are met and that all of you have the tools to succeed—not just in school, but in life.
